How to Claim/Get/Download FreeCodeCamp Certificates?
Disclaimer : Firstly the article is not about the learning methods. The title is straight. Its for those who have finished a course, completed all of the required projects and trying to claim or confused where to download the certificate!
Yes — I have been on the same place as you were now and searched all those forums and googleeed a lot, but didn’t find any latest questions on forums. The site have been modified and the guides and screenshots in the older forums will not cover it.
Here it is — After you have completed all of the required projects, follow the below steps.
Step - 1: Head on to this link (https://www.freecodecamp.org/settings). Don’t try to find Settings menu in your profile because it is not there right away. Just click on the link. (You can also navigate here by clicking ‘Update my account Settings’ button from freecodecamp.com/learn page).
Step - 2: Scroll down until you see the Certifications section.
Step - 3 : Click on the Claim Certification button and “Ta — daa” . You can get your certificate.
Bonus — Point : The Certificate open as a web page. You will find it difficult to download it as an image. Try to printing it also won’t work in most cases. Personally I recommend Screengrab on Chrome. It works like a charm to get screenshot the certificate. After you add the extension, go select the screen area around the certificate and save it. That’s all.
